Alicia and I headed south to Nashville Indiana to get away, check out the fall colors & go horseback riding. We had no obligations until Monday afternoon. It was Saturday. When you get two best friends, a camera, untraveled roads and free time, well only good things can happen 🙂 Alicia (nicknamed T) has been every bit of a supportive best friend. I look forward to our adventures and time together. This weekend is sure to do our hearts some good!!! We never know what lies ahead, and looking back can cause you to miss the direction you should be headed.
I shot this on some no name road, between here and there while on a ‘bathroom’ stop. Indiana is beautiful this time of year!!! (Fall time, that is)
So I had bought these blinds some time ago for the back door. I assumed Nick would hang them within the next couple of days. Not the case. So, I grabbed a beer, drill & was not giving up until they were hung.
Nick was able to mow the front & back yard & I was able to drink two beers in the time I hung them. Point is, they are hung and I did it on my own.
Originally brewed by a German born Mexican, Wilhelm Hasse in 1897. The brand name was Siglo XX (20th Century) to commemorate the arrival of the new century, and the bottles were marked with the Roman numeral for 20 (XX) thus ‘Does Equis’ which is Spanish for ‘two x’s’. (Wikipedia)
This photo is for a dear friend of mine who totally took care of me this evening for the Chris Young & Dierks Bentley show, which also happened to be the last show of the ‘Summer Concert Series.’
What an amazing night. Thank you Brett Glaze for ensuring that it would rock. It didn’t stop at Klipsch either. Cheese curds, pickles, pool, more beer, a little two step, cowboy hat, heartbeats & memories.
Stay thirsty my friends :-)!!
I chuckle as I cast my line out thinking how many parents take their children fishing, the most patient past time, for the most impatient at heart.
Relaxing and stressful all in the same hand, unless of course you’re fishing upstream in Alaska during salmon season, haha!
I hit the local ‘pay here to fish’ pond, simply to relax & a decent place to watch the sun melt beyond the trees in front of me. I love nothing more than summer country nights!
Friday nights at The Gathering, what was also known as Michaels Southshore. I loved my Friday nights there. Hanover Chase always played and all my regulars seated around the bar, bartending with Nick. Oh the memories, the laughter, the music & the fiends.
Ownership switched a year ago today. It was a hard transition. Hanover Chase plays once a month here still. Tonight was that night. It was so great walking in, seeing so many familiar faces. Listening to great music with deep meaning. Hugs from almost everyone in there, the band even stopped 🙂
Its moments like these when you realize just how many lives you’ve touched. #heyjealousy #wagonwheel #hanoverchase
Today I had the pleasure of working the Jimmy Buffett pre party at Klipsch with Mad Anthony Brewery. I had such a great time and met some really cool people. I love when I get to do events like this. I even met some fellow Chivers, though this one was my favorite! I hope all had a great evening at the show and again thank you to Mad Anthony Brewery and Blaine Stuckey for allowing me to be a part of such a fun event!!
Today opens the biggest weekend in racing, the Indianapolis 500. Carb Day. It’s also one of the biggest party weekends. Two major concerts, Friday & Saturday, then the race on Sunday. People camp out everywhere around the tack holding traditions from years past. Its something to see that’s for sure.
Perfect weather for an Indianapolis tradition.
