Chandler Day 289: Time for Work

DSC05873Today I got to take more picture for work. My boss is out of town, so I was told to shoot for the Ecolab. It’s nice ending the day with a walk through the Ecolab, taking pictures of beautiful flowers and getting paid.

Chandler Day 288: Getting Paid to Shoot Pretty Little Flowers

DSC05860Today I got to shoot photos in the Ecolab for work. This is pretty cool, because it’s the first time I have gotten paid to walk around and take photos. I documented a lot of flowers and seed pods throughout the Ecolab and focused on some of the great fall colors that are starting to appear. And I got a few fun fun shots like this one that I thought were pretty.

Chandler Day 285: Welcome to Danville

DSC05740Today Brandy and KC’s movie,  The Chronicles of a Dead Man, was playing in the Indy Film Fest in Danville, which is Hannah’s hometown. So we got to show Brandy around Danville and get some pretty fun shots at the Twin Bridges. I also got to see Nick, Mary, Mom, Abbie and Hannah’s family too. It was a really fun day overall with family, good short films and some good shots.

Chandler Day 282: Center of Attention

DSC05640Like I said, there are some amazing things around us. On my way to class I noticed this blazing orange and red tree down an alley of still green trees. I almost walked right past it, but the tree made itself the center of attention. I had to stop and stand in the middle of the road to snap this photo.

Chandler Day 281: Those Incredible Colors

DSC05731The trees are beginning to change colors and Fall is upon us here in Central Indiana. This is my favorite season and it can be spectacular for shooting. It is amazing to look up and see the incredible colors. It is nature’s last hurrah before winter comes on and things go dormant. So take a minute to look up or around you. There are some amazing things around us.

Brandy Day274: Burned Memories

image

Down a road I’ve traveled but a few times, I found the remaining structure of what was once a home.  Burned down to only its frame. Charred on the sides burning all but the boards & memories. What happened here? Who was affected? Was anyone lost or hurt? What now, for those that have lost? Fire is devastating, possibly runing forever anything that stands in its way.
This photo was taken inside the home, shooting through what was once a window, a barrel was the only color left behind,  besides the changing leaves from the fall air.

Chandler Day 261: Fall Is Moving In

DSC05207Summer is truly coming to and end an my favorite time of year is approaching. September is always an interesting month here in Indiana. The weather seems to be indecisvie between Summer and Fall. Some days are warm and sunny others are chilly and cloudy. A few trees begin to change while the rest stubbornly hold onto their greenness. The beans and corn are beginning to dry. Also fall migration is at full force. It’s a fun time and I love it.

Brandy Day251: Wading Thoughts

Shooting tonight was a lot of fun.  I got to spend some much needed time with Alicia, whom I had no clue how much alike we really are.   Talking with her made me realize just how much my head really was spinning.  It’s pretty cool being able to stand in the middle of a road under a full moon & a sky full of stars, feeling the fall air chill your skin.  The only way to get out of the confined space my thoughts are fighting through, is to carefully wade through the content.

Brandy Day241: Rinse Cycle

image

Everything in life can be a vicious cycle and if we are not careful getting caught in it can ruin us.
In the beginning everything starts fresh, grows, changes & dies. Once it dies its gone forever. Whatever it is. God willing it comes back, it will never be the same. Be sure to enjoy life at first sight, because YOU will eventually grow, change & die.
Take too many photos, enjoy every moment no matter how small & know nothing is really ours.

Brandy Day239: Kickin’ It

image

Today was hard for me to go and shoot. I have been fighting a migraine & nausea. As the evening began to set in, the pain in my legs began to worsen. Unfortunately, shooting sunset and photos for me is like the equivalent of having a drink every evening to others. It’s an addiction. I knew if I sat at home and felt sorry for myself & the lousy way I was feeling, I was going to more upset about missing the sunset.
I would have been right. It was beautiful! I also had the pleasure of meeting two beautiful dogs & their lovely human. Like I always say, a sunset always means a new day will soon start.
