This is Autumn and Kaleb, Dustin and Jennifer’s daughter and son. Autumn was the first grandchild in the family and the first niece. I had become an uncle and it was fun having new people in the family. I remember holding both of them in the hospitals, excited to have a niece and a nephew. It has been fun watching them grow up and it is incredible that they are this big already. They are both very smart kids. They are very ornery and funny (I wonder who they get if from), and they are great kids. I love the both of them and I can’t wait to see what they grow up to be.
This is Abbigail, my little sister. Me and Abbie have always been close. We’re best friends. We’ve grown up together and gone through everything together. I remember waiting in the hospital for her to be born, excited to have another sibling. She’s still my baby sister, even though she’s in high school now. We’ve had a lot of great times together and also have been through a lot of shit together. We certainly don’t always agree and boy, have we had some arguments, but we always make up a few minutes later and are back to having a good time. Abbie is wonderfully talented, hilarious, and incredibly smart young lady who is growing up to be strong and beautiful. She’s gonna go places and I’m excited to see what else we will go through. I love her and I’m so glad you are my sister.
This is Nick, my brother. Nick has always been a great brother to me. He always seems to be there for me when I need him the most. Oftentimes I don’t think I need to talk to him, but he’ll call me up and what he has to say is just right. Nick is hilarious and has always made me laugh with his stories and jokes. He’s a goofball. He’s caring, smart, hard-working, strong, sensitive, funny, loyal, a great brother, a great friend and a great man. I love him and I’m glad that he is my brother.
This is Dustin, my oldest brother. Dustin is one of a kind. He is hard working, great at what he does, smart, hilarious, straightforward, and a great father. He might be a little rough around the edges, but he is a good man and a good father who had done a lot for his kids. I am proud to call him my brother and I love him.
Haha!! Soooo I’m out shooting sunset, shocker I know. My truck is pulled off the side of the road with the flashers on. Sometimes people stop to see if I need help, others just slowly drive by looking at me wondering what I’m doing squatting knee deep in a field of wild flowers. Anyhow, a car is making the turn and he begins to slow down. I realize its a clown. He stops and kinda laughs asking if I need help. I laugh back and thank him explaining I’m just shooting photos and ask if I can take his.
Its good to see there are still good, helpful, honest people that still walk this Earth. Thanks Klem!!
Benny & Joon!! What a great movie from 1993. I’m taking it back here. A great comedy with Johnny Depp. This photo is one from one of my favorite scenes. They are in a diner and he awkwardly sticks forks in rolls and begins to make them dance.
Benny & Joon is one I can watch over and over and quote verbatim. If you haven’t seen it…it’s a must see!
Lunch shifts at the bar can be pretty hectic. People are in and out quickly on a lunch break. Fast pace, steady business & a lot of it, but its fun and a nice change up.
Today I met Skip. Nice guy, hairdresser, loud & funny. Kept the bar patrons entertained for some time.
I exploded two kegs on me while changing them. Beer just smells horrible after drying on your clothes and hair.
Meanwhile, the water company is out at my house shutting off the water as 32,000 gallons is just ‘down the drain’ due to a calcified valve on the water heater. However, I did have an opportunity to sit and chat with Brian, a firefighter and the gentleman whom we rent from. I enjoyed this conversation very much. A great guy. Caring & keeper of a ‘good vibe’.
With the mess of the day behind me and the comfort of his conversation, watching the sun set of this day, made me happy it was ending.
