Today in class we were told to go take portraits outside. Now portraits are not really my thing. I’ve never been that good at them or that comfortable with taking them. But I’m starting to get better. And it was fun shooting different people today. Just as class was ending I asked Alyee (another person in class) to let me get her picture. And I ended up with this, which was my favorite portrait of the day.
Today I went back home for a little bit and visited with my family and the pets, including Shae. It was kind of odd being there knowing we wouldn’t be at this place for much longer. So I went out to the pasture and spent some time with Shae. It’s always been one of my favorite places to be there. I gave her some treats, which she obviously enjoyed and petted her. Shae has always been a great pet, always wanting to be loved and get treats and she will just stand there listening to you and rub her head on you.
Haha!! Soooo I’m out shooting sunset, shocker I know. My truck is pulled off the side of the road with the flashers on. Sometimes people stop to see if I need help, others just slowly drive by looking at me wondering what I’m doing squatting knee deep in a field of wild flowers. Anyhow, a car is making the turn and he begins to slow down. I realize its a clown. He stops and kinda laughs asking if I need help. I laugh back and thank him explaining I’m just shooting photos and ask if I can take his.
Its good to see there are still good, helpful, honest people that still walk this Earth. Thanks Klem!!
Another happy night spent together. I love every minute we spend together. We get to see each other every day, and by now it feels odd if we don’t. We spend hours together talking, watching Netflix or YouTube, wasting time on Tumblr, or driving around in my car. We’ve spent so much time in my car. We go there to get away from people, go on an adventure or because my roommate kicked us out for some stupid, made-up reason. We’ve laughed a lot and had a lot of talks in that car. I’ve gotten to know a really amazing person during the time spent in that car. So here we are, making our best fish faces at each other and having another good night.
