University North Carolina, Wilmington. What an absolutely beautiful campus!! I enjoyed walking around here today, meeting some of the staff and chatting around. Its so true what they say about The Carolinas, everyone is super friendly, helpful & truly keeps the ‘southern hospitality’ alive.
Hoping a new path opens soon, as the one I’m on has been under construction for awhile 😉
What a find! This quaint chapel in Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton. I fell in love. So simple. So beautiful.
The pews were constructed of wood salvaged from a building after September 11. The glass window over looks the ocean of the banks its built upon.
A perfect replication of a southern Baptist Church. Standing there in the church I could imagine, almost feel as if I were standing there in the 1800s. The heat. Women fanning themselves. Small chatter as the sermon goes on.
KC and I road tripped it down to Exotic Feline Rescue here in southern IN. What an amazing trip. These amazing animals in captivity was kind of hard to see but after learning some of their stories I was somehow OK with it. For example two of the tigers were ‘pets’ to a man who was using them to lure children into his home. He was arrested and charged with ‘children crimes’ and now the beautiful cats get to be outdoors in safe environments and well cared for. I’d recommend taking the trip.
Shot during feeding time with such golden eyes.
