Today wasn’t easy. Maybe its the weather, I feel like I’m lost in Seattle. However the sun has set so I cannot complain. Rain through the day makes for long ones & hyper dogs.
Driving for sunset accepting I may not see much of one, this reflection caught me. Flooding the hole in the middle of the road, deceiving those that pass through, painting that which surrounds it, catching true colors.
Oddly enough I stopped, got out of my truck and stood there, ‘reflecting’ on recent days, prior to taking this photo. The beauty captured reflected so much.
I’m sure these two gentlemen thought I was either DNR or an absolute nut case. I was sitting on the banks alone taking photos of the sun melting into the water. I was waiting for the shot. I know it was coming as they slowly trolled across the water. Finally there it was right before me. The beautiful silhouette of them in their fishing boat. The cloud line that lingered above. The melting sun in the back.
When you get something or someone so great consider it a perfect catch. Hold onto it.
Shot over Giest after this crazy hectic Tuesday.
Thank you to Dr. Aaron and his staff for helping with my puppy today.
We all need it at one point or another, strength. Sometimes its harder than others to muster up. There are times when you don’t know where it came from but you find it and keep going. There are times when certain situations are easier to find strength than others. Regardless we have it, lose it, want it, fight it.
Strength is s big part of who I am. How I got here. Where I will end up.
Jellyfish are the oldest multi-organ animal having roamed the seas for over 500 million years. Tuna, shark, swordfish & sea turtle feed on jellyfish making them vulnerable. With no shell to protect them. No teeth. Nothing other than their stinging tentacles and strength. Strength to keep swimming and keep fighting.
Insanely clear night. Cold yet comfortable. So many stars lighting up the night sky.
Its crazy to think how bright, yet how far away stars actually are. Burning objects that have already burnt out by the time we see them. Something so hard to grasp hold of.
I love the peace and sense of comfort found in a night sky. The openness that it offers. The wonder that it holds. The beauty of its existence. The excitement you feel when seeing a shooting star. Thank you for being that star I wished upon. For lighting up my world.
My world. This is my style. What I do. I love bartending. I love the service industry. The people I meet. The connections. The hours are long. I work opposite the general public. The work is hustlin’.
I’ve meet amazing people throughout the years. I’ve also met assholes. All in all, as a whole I can honestly say I love my job.
Understanding life isn’t about perfection and knowing its about learning, will make shitty days easier.
I love this kid!!! Tuesdays can seem forever long but I know that when I get off work and get home she’s waiting on me. Regardless of my day, she’s jacked to see me and cuddle!
I have the greatest, most loyal friend!
I’ve grown to hate Tuesday! Where I am employed it’s ‘Steak Night’ $6.95 bacon wrapped filet, baked potato, soup and salad. It’s a cheap meal, no drink purchase required and you run your ass off for a $3 tip if … Continue reading →
A joke between a friend of mine and I, if we are taking the long way or not wherever we may be headed at the time of our conversation. This road isn’t nesecarily the long way but also less traveled. … Continue reading →
