It seems like it has been a time for firsts recently. Today I went with Hannah to one of her friend’s wedding. It’s the first wedding the me and Hannah have gone to together. It was a really nice wedding and the couple looked extremely happy. We had a good time too and were able to get all dressed up(Hannah looked stunning). It was another good day.
P.S. Today was also Michelle’s birthday and I was unable to see her. So Happy Birthday and I hope you had a great day!
It’s funny how things work out. After waking to shoot what was a non existent sunrise, due to the rain that was moving in, I headed back home to spend time with Boston. Shortly after being back home I received a phone call from a local requesting me to assist him in a wedding that he was set to shoot in just a couple hours. What?!?! Things like this don’t happen….do they?! I looked into him and the venue and the wedding party and it was all legit.
It was a beautiful wedding, the sweetest couple and such a fun evening with the chance to meet some awesome people.
This photo was shot on the pier where the reception was held just after the sun had set. So many beautiful colors brought in from the rain earlier in the day. What a beautiful day <3!
Sometimes when I take a shot I can imagine so much more. So much more that could go into the shot. So many other shots that I could get. So many ways to play with the light and the location. All the different subjects, moods, and emotions I could work with. All these things just pop in my head and then it’s my job to turn it into reality. So as I took this shot, I explained to Hannah how I could imagine a bride, in an elegant white dress, walking down this path. This spot would be perfect for weddings. Maybe I’ll get those shots someday.
