I’ve been feeling uneasy the past couple days. Usually its an easy fix with a country drive, few sunset photos & ramen noodles. This time is different. I can’t seem to shake it no matter how many hours I spend driving or sitting outside in the night air. I’m certain it’ll work itself out, whatever it is.
Shot out there somewhere, windows down, music up & mind full of useless confusing thoughts.
Driving down State Road 19 when I had to stop and turn around to grab this photo. No truer words have been shared.
Live everyday fully. Tomorrow is not yours. Cherish every moment as though it will never present itself again. I’m not saying ‘you only live once, do dumb things’, I am however saying live wisely. Live peacefully.
A much needed girls night with the one and only Mary. Great conversation, amazing food, a lot of doctor talk & perhaps one too many berries & bubbles. All of it so worth it. Not sure who needed it more, we both had a great time! Thank you Mary!!
Unusually drawn to this photo. It’s one of those that I knew I was taking, but didn’t know the capacity of it at the time.
Not sure why THIS one photo sticks out to me out of the 100+ photos I took on this beautiful Wednesday. Many would argue there are others far better than this.
This was shot just as sunrise was peaking well over the horizon. The air was chilled. People rushing off to wherever.
I was up at 6am. Another restless night of sleep or lack thereof. I was OK with the tradeoff.
I think its the knot I’m drawn to. Right in the center. Holding it all together.
Photo was shot in RAW with no edit.
As today closes and ends I am reminded yet again just how fragile life is.
Today so many said goodbye to a young son, a father, a brother, a friend, a lover, a co-worker, an old classmate. Gone too soon, forever held in our hearts never to be forgotten.
Tomorrow is never promised. Live today as its your last day together. Never let something go unsaid.
Rest peacefully Matt Butcher.
Shot in a flooded field as tears hold the memories to be cherished forever.
