Everything in life can be a vicious cycle and if we are not careful getting caught in it can ruin us.
In the beginning everything starts fresh, grows, changes & dies. Once it dies its gone forever. Whatever it is. God willing it comes back, it will never be the same. Be sure to enjoy life at first sight, because YOU will eventually grow, change & die.
Take too many photos, enjoy every moment no matter how small & know nothing is really ours.
I have always loved Queen Ann’s Lace. I think it’s beautiful, especially when it cover either side of the road as you drive through the country. There’s an overgrown patch of grass and wildflowers behind our property that is usually filled with the stuff. I went and got some shots of it, taking in the beauty of it, listening to the bees busy with their work with the Indiana sun behind me.
Ignited to provide light, sometimes heat & historically used as a method to keep time. The earliest candles originated in China around 200 BC.
I almost always have a candle burning while at home. To me it sets a soft, relaxing atmosphere. Watching the flame dance sometimes a contained area. Trying to escape from the heat that it produces itself. Running from something its forever attached to.
I happened upon this lone silo today and stopped to get a shot. And then I noticed the all the beautiful daylilies growing along the side of the fence. There were so many you couldn’t even see the fence. I absolutely love these flowers. They grow and bloom all over country roads throughout Indiana. And they are always orange (which happens to be my favorite color.) They are pretty enough to have their own picture but paired with a silo, I think it makes for a beautiful scene.
Oh Ben…..he’s so handsome. Yet a pain in the ass. I love him so much as I adopted him almost a year after Jordan passed, on Jordan’s first birthday without us.
His name was Desoto at the Humane Society. I changed it to Ben for unknown reasons, though I have to clarify Ben is my cat and NOT a guy when telling stories. He had been there for a bit prior to me adopting him. I had NO clue what I was getting myself into. They say ‘all black’ cats have the most personality. Truth. He goes out with the dogs. He’s as smart as a human and knows it. When people come to my house I have to warn them about my cat, not the two dogs. All in all though he is great and I couldn’t imagine not having his punk-ness around.
